- Start by bringing your water to a rolling boil. My grandmother always said never to rush the tea! Pour it over your hibiscus tea bags and let them steep for about 5 to 7 minutes. You're looking for that deep, rich crimson color that makes this drink so special. Once it's ready, let it cool completely, patience here keeps the fruit flavors bright and fresh later!
- Pop your fresh strawberries into the blender along with a ¼ cup of that cooled tea. Blend it up until it’s a thick, glossy ruby puree. If you’re like me and love a really smooth finish, press this mixture through your fine mesh sieve with the back of a spoon. It takes two extra minutes but makes the drink look so professional!
- In your beautiful glass pitcher, stir together the rest of the tea, that lovely strawberry puree, and your fresh lemon juice. Slowly drizzle in the maple syrup. I like to start with two tablespoons and taste as I go, every batch of strawberries has its own personality and sweetness! Stir until the color is perfectly even.
- Fill your glasses with plenty of Ice and pour the lemonade over the top. Seeing the light hit that ruby red liquid is my favorite part, my daughter Emma says it looks like a drink made for a princess! Serve it immediately while it's icy and refreshing.

Notes
Storage: Keep any leftovers in an airtight pitcher in the fridge for up to 3 days. Give it a quick stir before pouring a new glass!
Variation: For a bit of "fizz," fill your glass halfway with the lemonade and top the rest with sparkling water. It's like a strawberry hibiscus soda!
Expert Tip: Always use fresh lemons. The bottled stuff just doesn't have the "sparkle" needed to balance the earthy hibiscus.
